April 22, 2005 American Honda is giving Californian car-buyers the opportunity to say goodbye to gasoline by offering limited retail sales of its natural gas-powered Civic GX sedan paired with a revolutionary new home-refuelling appliance called Phill. For the past seven years, Honda has marketed the Civic GX to fleet operators who have their own dedicated fueling stations. A limited number of retail customers have also purchased the Civic GX, relying on the existing public natural gas refueling network. By offering the Civic GX with the Phill home refueling appliance, Honda is expanding the appeal of this ultra-clean and convenient alternative to gasoline-powered transportation.

These pics that Eric sent back show the Sport Concept Civic Si with fenders that have been widened 50mm. The whole car has also been lowered 25mm on a prototype Honda track-tuned suspension. Brembo brakes with 4-pistons pots all around are used to slow the 19-inch Advanced concept design wheels and Michelin Pilost Sport II tires. Carbon fiber has been liberally used in places like the side skirts, rear diffuser and adjustable rear wing, as well as extra aero bits attached to the restyled front and rear bumpers. Of course those profits only go to the top 1% in American companies, where the CEO's make 400% more than the average wage in their company, while in Japan they are much more in line with the average.
