Wider than the standard Civic Si by more than 50 mm, the Sport Concept Si features aerodynamically styled front and rear bumpers made of lightweight carbon fiber, sleek door styling, carbon fiber side skirts, a rear carbon fiber air diffuser and a center exhaust outlet. The Sport Concept Civic Si features an advanced track-tuned suspension package that lowers the car by 25 mm and improves the vehicle's handling dynamics with optimized spring and firm shocks. Brembo brake components are added at all four corners, including powerful four-piston calipers and cross-drilled rotors that provide amazing levels of stopping force. Honda also showcased the Team Honda Research Civic Si race car and announced that Honda will enter two Civic Si race cars in the annual "25 Hours of Thunderhill" endurance race on December 3-4, 2005.
