Honda Shadow Spirit 750 Motorcycle Road Test
Officially, the Shadow Spirit is a new model for 2001, thus expanding Honda's stable of middleweight cruisers to three. This 750 gets a new frame, steering head and a more radical rake-along with traditional spoked wheels on a slimmer front tire. The Shadow Spirit will likely appeal to serious riders looking for solid transportation and the occasional blast on weekends, as well as confident beginners looking to get their hands around a peppy ride. Low saddle height, manageable power characteristics and friendly handling make this bike a breeze to ride, and its enthusiastic engine provides good grins.

To stay fresh in the game, for 2004 Honda's Shadow Aero has undergone a major redesign, giving it a retro-look along with a strong dose of VTX styling-including large valanced fenders similar to its bigger brethren. Despite its relatively small displacement for a cruiser, the Aero now has the appearance of a much larger machine, which is especially accentuated by its oh-so-loonnggg rear fender.

Honda 2000 Shadow Sabre - Ride Review
Honda 2000 Shadow Sabre This Sabre is about performance, cruiser performance. This being the case, the natural question is how does the bike run. The answer is that it runs very well, though it doesn't posses the arm stretching power you'd expect from a company emphasizing power as much as Honda has. Aside from this, the Sabre's motor pulls smoothly and strong enough to allow for short-shifting and rolling on the power no matter what gear you've selected.

Honda Shadow Series - Reviews on RateItAll
Bikes like the Fat Boy need no further alterations- they look good right out of the showroom and it's the only bike the Japs have truly envied as evidenced by all the clones- Suzuki Volusia, Kawasaki Vulcan Classic, Honda Shadow ACE(or rather the new VTX line), and the Yamaha V-Star line. Of all these, the Honda aftermarket reigns supreme in beautifying your ride. But how about coming out with one that's pretty right off the runway? Engineering is no contest, the Japs rule. Performance parts?

His girlfriend dropped him off to pick up the bike from storage and on their way to the mechanic, she was following to closely and ran into him on the highway. Fortunately David was OK, but the Shadow was history.

Motorcycle Online: First Impression -- Honda ACE
Honda: Made In USA. These words, printed on the passenger seat of Honda's Shadow 1100 American Classic Edition (ACE), tell the whole story behind Honda's newest entry into the Harley-Davidson controlled cruiser bike market: It's made in America, it looks American, it sounds American, heck, it even feels American. That's right, American made. From the steel for the frame and gas tank, to the fasteners used to hold the bike together. Right down to the paint. In all, there are more than a hundred suppliers from all over the United States that supply the ingredients delivered to the Honda of American Manufacturing (affectionately known as 'HAM') plant in Marysville, Ohio, to make the new Shadow. And it worked. At an idle, the new Shadow sounds almost indistinguishable from a stock-pipe equipped Hog - it even sounds better since Honda water-cooled the ACE, there is less gear noise offending the EPA's noise meter, so they got to make the exhaust note significantly louder than any stock Harley.

2000 Honda Shadow Sabre: Turn-key Street Rod
Honda has watched the custom street rod look develop, and the 2000 Shadow Sabre is the result. For about $8,500, Honda wants to give you the looks and performance of a big buck custom (if it saves your marriage in the process, all the better).
